Designation : Asst. Manager – Payroll & Compliance
Reporting to : Manager – HR & Manager – Finance
ROLE AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Asst. Manager - Payroll and Compliance isresponsible for processing payroll accurately
and on time, ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, and
managing employee records for pan India employees (total employee strength of 200-
250). He/She will also handle statutory compliances like PF, ESIC, and PT, address
employee queries related to payroll, and coordinate with other teams for reconciliations
and audits.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of their responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
• Accurate and timely payroll processing:
This includes calculating salaries, deductions, and ensuring timely salary disbursement.
• Maintaining employee records:
This includes updating HRMS (Human Resource Management System) with employee
information, attendance, leaves, and other relevant data.
• Addressing employee queries:
Responding to employee inquiries about their salary, deductions, and compliance-related
matters.
Compliance:
• Managing statutory compliances: This includes handling PF, ESIC, PT, LWF,
and other statutory compliances.
• Ensuring adherence to labor laws and regulatory updates: Staying up-to-date
with changes in labor laws and regulations and ensuring compliance.
• Preparing compliance documentation: Assisting in preparing necessary
documentation for filing returns and other compliance requirements.
• Liaising with government authorities: Contacting and interacting with relevant
government agencies as needed.
Other Responsibilities:
• Coordination with other teams: Working with finance, HR, and other departments
for reconciliations, audits, and other tasks.
• Maintaining payroll records: Ensuring accurate and up-to-date payroll records for
audits and reporting.
• Preparing HR reports: Generating reports as required by HR and other
departments.
CTC –35,000 – 40, 000 Per month.
Qualification:
• Graduate with prior experience in a similar role in a Manufacturing / Ecommerce/Logistics industry
• Graduates with good understanding of MS Office, and Excel.
• Candidates with understanding of Tally Prime preferred
• Candidates should have a strong customer focus and good communication, influencing skills.
• Candidates should maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
• Candidates must also have strong administrative skills, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent
communication abilities to liaise effectively between the sales team and clients.
